Troy Little Launches Part 3 of Graphic Novel Series

TroyLittleDrawingIM.jpgThe graphic novel has taken on a life of its own. Recently on Canada Reads a graphic novel was in the line-up and last fall the Province chose a Graphic Novel as the one-island-one-book project. Well we have within our midst a highly regarded graphic novelist. Troy Little Is launching his most recent work this weekend. It's a hardcover graphic novel - the 3rd in the Angora Napkin series. Troy took some time out from the drawing board.

Teresa Doyle - ECMA Winner Releases CD

Teresa Doyle MS20130313.jpgTeresa Doyle is one of those musicians who simply doesn't stop. She just got back from the North american folk alliance conference and the ECMA's where she was recognized with a 25th anniversary award.

On top of that....she has a brand new cd...."Song Road" out now...ready to promote.  It's a wonderful collection of all the different styles of music that make Teresa the talented performer that she is. And many of the songs are a testament to her travels and her life. Teresa Doyle dropped by the studio.

Catherine Miller - Changing Environment

CatherineMiller2013.jpgWhen it comes to issues around land use and environmental protection on PEI we're accustomed to government studies, maybe lawsuits or debates and even music. Now a textile artist offers her interpretation of what's happening to our landscape. The show called Catherine Miller: Changing Environs features textile sculptures and installations is on display on the way into the Confederation Centre Art Gallery. Karen met with Catherine Miller.
