Gracie Finley - The Montgomery Theatre

Gracie Finley 3.jpgGracie Finley is the epitome of Anne of Green Gables - so it's no wonder she played Anne for the longest run in the Charlottetown Festival. That gig started in 1968 when she was all of 16. These days Finley calls Buckinghamshire England home. She returns to PEI in the summers and over recent years she's been getting involved in another theatre - The Montgomery Theatre in Rustico. Next year Gracie Finley will return to the stage in an original production. Gracie Finley was home for a few days and stopped by for a visit.

The Wizard of Oz - Wade Lynch and Glenda Landry

WizardofOz3.jpgMany Islanders will be off to see the wizard at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in the coming days. The mainstage show features an enormous casts - dogs - fire and flying. The story about Dorothy trying to get home to Kansas is a classic piece of writing and TV. To hear more about the stage production, Director Wade Lynch and Wicked Witch Glenda Landry joined Karen Mair in the studio.
