Head out to the Shepherd's Farm in Pisquid. Stephen Cousins operates the organic farm and retreat with his family. The Cousins are trying to make their mixed farm work on a number of levels. They market through a CSA - that's Community Shared Agriculture as well as farm stands at their farm and at the Queen Street Farmers market. They also supply a few high end restaurants and chefs . The three Cousins children who are still at home are all self-employed...Karen Mair wandered around the farm to find out more about what they do.
