Free For All!

We're launching today our annual fundraiser for Feed Nova Scotia. It's called Free For All, and it calls businesses and others to compete to raise the most food and funds for the cause. Obscured Crosswalks

We want you to send in your photographs of hard to spot crosswalks, ones that may be obscured by trees, signs and other stuff. Take a picture with your smart phone or digital camera. Email it to us at Be sure to tell us in your email where the crosswalk is located. Include your name and where you're from, and we'll post your pics!

A Letter to HRM Council

Andy Fillmore, the head of the school of planning at Dalhousie and former manager of urban design for the Halifax Regional Municipality, has joined with the Downtown Halifax Business Commission and the chair of the Urban Design Task Force in writing a letter to HRM council.

They are urging HRM council to vote against allowing the amendments that would permit the Skye Halifax project to be built.
