Remembering Farley Mowat

Silver Donald Cameron

Celebrated Canadian author Farley Mowat has died at the age of 92.

Mowat is most famous for his books about the Canadian north, such as 'Never Cry Wolf' and 'People of the Deer.'

As well as winning the Governor General's award for 'Lost in the Barrens', his work has been translated into 52 languages and he has sold about 17 million books around the world.

Today we've reached his good friend Silver Donald Cameron to share his memories of this Canadian Icon.
