Austrian skier Marlies Schild raced to victory in a women's World Cup slalom in Panorama, B.C., on Sunday.
Schild posted a two-run time of one minute, 39.95 seconds to win her second straight World Cup slalom race this season.
Schild, the reigning slalom champion, overcame slippery conditions to claim victory in Reiteralm, Austria last week.
"Not perfect today, but fast enough," Schild said. "It was a tough race and it was difficult to get the rhythm from the start because it was steep and very aggressive snow, but I got it and I made it."
Sarka Zahrobska of the Czech Republic was second in 1:40.63. Croatia's Ana Jelusic finished third in 1:40.64 on Sunday. Defending overall World Cup champion Nicole Hosp of Austria was fifth.
Anna Goodman of Ste-Agnes-De-Beauce, Que., was the top Canadian in 35th.
The women's World Cup shifts to Lake Louise, Alta., with a downhill scheduled for Saturday and a super-G on Sunday.
