Brent Phillips, a guide for Extremely Canadian, enjoys the fruits of his labour after ski touring to the top of a backcountry ski run. This is the first year the company will lead clients on guided ski tours outside the Whistler-Blackcomb boundary. As the demand for fresh snow and uncrowded runs grows, so too does the risk more people could get in over their heads.
