Janzen's pharmacy robbed at knifepoint

Police say a lone male stole a small quantity of prescription medication on Wednesday.

Police are searching for an unidentified male after prescription medication was stolen from a Janzen's Pharmacy location in Thunder Bay.

At 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, a lone robber held up the West Frederica St. store at knifepoint, they said.

Police said no one was injured and that the culprit got away with a small amount of medication. They did not specify the type of drug.

They described the robber as approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing a black toque with a grey brim. The toque had the letters "b-u-l-a" in small print. The male was also wearing black gloves and a black jacket with a hood.
