Man dies at Saskatoon club after falling down stairs

Saskatoon police are looking into the accidental death of a 27-year-old man who died at a nightclub Thursday night.

It happened on the 800 block of Broadway Ave. at about 11:30 p.m.

Police said the man fell down a set of stairs at the Fez On Broadway nighclub and hit his head at the bottom.

That's when he went into what police are calling medical distress.

The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of death is unknown at this time and police are still investigating.

Police said foul play is not suspected.

The man's name has not been released.
