Police have arrested two more men who are now facing charges in connection with a drive-by shooting in Halifax's north end earlier this month.

Kirk Michael Wright, 24, of Herring Cove, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday without incident.

Charges were also laid on Wednesday against Everett Douglas MacNeil, 24, in relation to this incident.

Wright and MacNeil face the following charges:

MacNeil also faces an additional charge of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order. He was remanded into custody following his Nov. 5 arrest on another matter and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Nov. 23

Police were called to Robie and McCully streets in the early morning hours of Nov. 3. A taxi driver approached them and said he had been involved in a shooting.

The taxi driver said he was driving a passenger northbound when a silver car pulled up and someone started shooting at the cab. No one was injured.

The passenger fled the cab as soon as the driver pulled over.

Three suspects have now been charged in this incident. On Nov. 11, police arrested 24-year-old Kyle Douglas Shipley and have laid a slew of charges against him.
