Adults from 25-65 dig into childhood diaries and scrapbooks - and all kinds of other stuff they wrote when they were young - and then pluck up the courage to go on stage and read these 'blasts from the past' in front of an audience in a club in downtown Toronto; letters home from summer camp, poems about superheros, diary entries, lists of boyfriends and first dates, love and hate between siblings, the angst of raging hormones and unrequited love, a poignant essay about leaving home to come to Canada - and to cap it off, our producer takes to the stage to read excerpts from "The Weekly Whine" - a newspaper for dogs that he and his brother wrote for nearly three years! Stand by for the exploits of "Lord Yap" and the fearless reporting of "Barker Right" because of course dog journalists never bury their leads!
