Parry Sound "Messiah" (repeat)

Some years ago, in the small town of Parry Sound, Ontario, the choral society plucked up its courage, mustered all its resources and put on a complete performance of Handel's great masterpiece.  We go behind the scenes to hear the making of Messiah - Parry Sound style - from first rehearsal to final curtain.

Plus the Living out Loud "Messiah quiz".  How long did it take Handel to write Messiah?  What was the hidden agenda behind the libretto?  When the choir sings "FOR unto us a child is born" why is the accent in the wrong place?  And how did Handel get around the English church hierarchy who saw "Messiah" as verging on blasphemy?
