Win An iPad 2!

Put on your serious caps (but don't lose that smile): On Monday, March 19th we'll be naming semifinalists for the Live Right Now Capital of Canada. You're in the clutch now! Luckily, there's still plenty of time to earn points.

The math is simple: the more community members participating, the greater chance your community has of scoring one of the coveted top 13 spots. So how can you get more people involved?

How about this: we've got an iPad 2 up for grabs, and you could win it! Your name will be entered into the draw for every person that you invite and accepts your invitation to join the app. (Go to the Live Right Now app)

Invite friends to the Live Right Now app for your chance to win an ipad2.
To invite friends just click on the "Invite Friends" button above the Live Right Now logo and the English/French toggle button.
We'll announce the winner on Facebook and Twitter on Monday, March 19th, the same day we announce our 13 semifinalists!
Here are some other ways that you can do to get your community involved:
  • Share Live Right Now Challenges
  • Organize a themed LRN Event or Group and encourage people to sign up. Liverpool creates events for every time they get together for a walk. Cambridge set up a group to share healthy eating ideas. Taylor has a group for to share info about their weekly bootcamp.
  •  Help the less Facebook savvy community members. Volunteers in Kamloops, BC assist seniors with the app following fitness classes.
  • Encourage local radio and papers to spread the word.
Remember: the more points you earn every day, the better chance your community has to be named a semifinalist. And who knows - a FREE, custom-designed, $100,000 natural playground could find itself in your town!
Here are some easy ways to earn points:
  • Join by clicking the "Connect With Facebook" - 100 points
  • Complete a LRN Event: 20 points (up to 60 points per day)
  • Upload a photo to an LRN Group or Event: 25 points (up to 100 points per day)
  • Like the Live Right Now Facebook page: 50 points
