Casting Call

Pictured: The Loat family eating together (Submitted by the Loat family)

We kick off 2013 by asking Canadians to rediscover the healthy benefits of eating together.

Here's how you can share your stories and ideas with the CBC Live Right Now community:

Featuring: Your family - or group of friends and co-workers

What are your mealtime challenges and successes? We'll be featuring families or groups of friends and co-workers who eat together.

Want to get involved? It's easy. Fill out a questionnaire and send us four to six photos of your family or group eating together and preparing meals.

That's it! Your stories told your way.

Calling all mini-chefs!

Hey, kids, what did you eat today? Sharpen your colouring pencils and draw your food!

Then, send us a picture of your masterpiece, and we'll share it with the Live Right Now community. We'll be showcasing your art on our website and social media.

Tell us a little something about your gallery piece. Is it your favourite food? Did you help prepare it? Your first name and age will accompany the picture.

You can send us as many as you like.

Need inspiration? Check out the colourful artwork of Maxime, 5, from Winnipeg.

Your ideas

What would you like to see on our website? Do you have questions about eating together that you'd like answered? Send us your story suggestions, pictures or videos to share with the Live Right Now community.

You could help inspire other Canadians to bring healthier home.
