Build a personal accountability system. It is important to monitor your progress to help you see the positive changes that you have made. This could include a weekly weight chart, a food diary, or a calendar dedicated to activity. Keep your system in a visible area and make time for it at least once a day. Each time you reach a benchmark, reward yourself. Rewards provide recognition for your hard work and enhance your motivation to continue on.
