Mayor Randy Simms

Name: Randy Simms
I live in: Mount Pearl, NL
#1 Health Goal: I have started a walking program as part of a Mayor's Challenge in our province and I have adjusted my eating habits to allow for healthier foods.
Biggest Challenge: Committing to the gym is my biggest challenge. That or time. Perhaps I should say that time management is the big challenge because you have to find a way to make all of this fit into your schedule and in my case the schedule is quite active.
Biggest Accomplishment: Actually doing it every day and giving it the proper priority for right now.
I will continue to Live Right Now by: Next for me is reducing my intake of coffee. Expanding on the distance I walk over the same time frame. Don't sweat the small stuff and forget the weight scale. That's an obsession designed to break your heart.
Personal Tip for Canadians: Don't try to make changes alone. Get a partner who can be a source of inspiration.
