Little Mosque's Zaib Shaikh Guest Hosts DNTO This Saturday

Little Mosque on the Prairie wrapped in 2012, but the sitcom's star, Zaib Shaikh, is returning to CBC this weekend to play a very special substitute.

Shaikh will fill in for Sook-Yin Lee on the Saturday, March 16 edition of Definitely Not the Opera, airing on CBC Radio One at 1:30 p.m. ET. The Toronto actor's played radio host before; you'll recall his past stint on Q, for instance. And this week on DNTO, he'll be exploring the topic, What does your legacy say about you?

With regular DNTO host Lee ceding full mic privileges to Shaikh this week, he'll be telling a legacy story of his own - one that explains how his CBC TV comedy, Little Mosque on the Prairie, has lived on since its finale.

Other guests on Saturday's episode will include Brett Wilson of Dragons' Den and Winnipeg Blue Bomber Obby Khan. Further show details can be found on the DNTO site.
