Here at CBC Live, we love CBC Music. With the amount of unbelievably great artists you can stream live and add onto your personalised playlist, we know there may not be enough hours in the day to listen to them all. It's been a while since we last brought you our recommendation of an artist to check out, so that's why this week we're back with a bang. We're listening to Eight and a Half.

Not to be considered as a side project, the musical love child of Justin Peroff of Broken Social Scene and Dave Hamelin and Liam O'Neil of The Stills resulted in Eight and a Half - a Toronto-based rock/pop group with electronic and atmospheric musical blends.

While striving to capture the attention of their respected longtime fans (and gain new ones) with their self-titled debut album and performing across the country, Eight and a Half stopped by George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight to give viewers a taste of their musical styling.
