On September 18, Jian Ghomeshi - host of CBC Radio's Q - will release his debut book - 1982. It's a literary memoir centred around a 14 year-old's desire to be David Bowie. We all know of Jian's love for the hugely influential English musician. In the book, Jian takes on the persona of Bowie in an attempt to attract an older woman...

In the run up to the release next month, some friends of Jian's like Sloan, Peter Mansbridge, George Stroumboulopoulos and Arlene Dickinson have shared their favourite memories of the '80s with him. That's not all, recorded specially at Guelph's Hillside Festival, The Arkells do a great rendition of Hall & Oates' You Make My Dreams:
