Watch CBC Live @ TIFF - Day 8

Our Man in Tehran is The Man to watch on the Sept. 12 edition of CBC Live @ TIFF. The team behind the new documentary, including Canada's former ambassador to Iran Ken Taylor, discussed their journey to the screen and how this Canadian story continues to resonate -- even without its connections to Argo. Also on the program: Director Ingrid Veninger and actor Aaron Poole talk their new film The Animal Project, a must-see for those who dig "life, love, art and large furry animals." (Veninger's unofficial tagline, by the way.) Plus Lawrence Hill, the author and Massey lecturer to-be, talks the upcoming adaptation of his award-winning novel Book of Negroes. (Sorry, no casting scoop; he tells us he's sworn to secrecy.)
