Watch CBC Live @ TIFF - Day 4

On Day 4 of CBC Live @ TIFF we welcomed the star and director of The Husband--described by TIFF.net as a "gutsy black comedy"--Bruce McDonald and Maxwell McCabe-Lokos. The pair themselves told us that they're not even sure how to classify the movie, saying: "Maybe it's a romantic thriller... with comedy?"

CBC News' Eli Glasner co-hosted the show with Jamey Ordolis first of all to talk over his opinion of buzz films Dallas Buyers Club and The F Word. Check out who's already being touted for Oscar nominations.

Some stars of the CBC also popped by, the ever-fashionable Yannick Bisson of Murdoch Mysteries talked star style with us and the stars of Cracked, David Sutcliffe and Brooke Nevin joined the panel. They have a connection to another of our guests today, Bruce McDonald, as he's directed three episodes of CBC's police drama.

The CIBC Star Moment today featured a Canadian comedy heavyweight. Best known for Wayne's World and Austin Powers, Mike Myers is making the move to directing (but don't worry, there's an Austin Powers 4 on the way...) with Supermensch, a documentary about Shep Gordon.

Plus, find out which star CBC hosts George Stroumboulopoulos and Jian Ghomeshi both have a crush on...
