Yannick Bisson and Andrew Gower in a scene from "Return of Sherlock." -- CBC
It's the "Return of Sherlock" on Murdoch Mysteries
October 21 -- even if the man in the hat is not really truly Sherlock Holmes.
In Season 6, the Murdoch
gang solved a mystery of a personal nature when a young man claiming to be more than a figment of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's imagination arrived at the constabulary. The big reveal? He was merely a Toronto orphan named David, afflicted with a personality disorder.
But that adventure was so good, the Murdoch
team couldn't quite part with Sherlock. Says Yannick Bisson, "chances are on Murdoch Mysteries, if you don't die you will be back." And this summer, CBC Live visited him -- and the rest of the cast -- on the show's Toronto set.
What's the riddle behind Sherlock's return? Yannick Bisson, Jonny Harris, Thomas Craig and Sherlock himself, Andrew Gower, tell us the tale.
Tune into CBC Monday at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) to watch Murdoch Mysteries, "Return of Sherlock."
