VIDEO: Martin Short Gets Ready to Host the First Ever Canadian Screen Awards

There couldn't be a better, bigger choice than Martin Short to host the first ever Canadian Screen Awards. He brings star power, a sense of history, and he's on a hot streak, having hosted one of the best episodes of Saturday Night Live this season, being profiled in January's Comedy Issue of Vanity Fair as "the funniest, nicest, best of them all" and - he told us in our interview this week - working on a new comedy series with Lorne Michaels, which he's set to star in.

Martin is in Toronto now, working on the Canadian Screen Awards with his brother, writer Michael Short, and the CBC production team who are helping him plot the return of some of his most beloved characters for the show. We were thrilled to have him in our CBC Live studio to find out how things were going:

Don't miss Martin short hosting the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards on March 3rd at 8pm (8:30 NT) on CBC TV.
