Awards season red carpet glamour no longer ends with the Oscars now that world can look to the Canadian Screen Awards for high fashion from the stars of the North.
To make the first ever Canadian Screen Awards red carpet a fashion night to remember, we turned to a place with a rich history of bringing the most glamorous fashions from around the world to Canadians: The Room at Hudson's Bay.
Naomi Snieckus, our Canadian Screen Awards red carpet live stream co-host, visited The Room to enlist the help of expert stylist Megan Loach, who pulled looks from the designers who are favourites of the biggest stars in the world, including Roland Mouret, L'Wren Scott, J. Mendel and Zac Posen.
Naomi is usually seen in cool casual wear as a panelist on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight and in sweats as phys ed teacher "Bobbi" on Mr. D, so she was the perfect candidate for a total red carpet makeover.
Here's a sneak peek of Naomi's lesson in luxury styling. Her full look will be revealed in our red carpet live stream show, which begins at 4:30pm on Sunday, March 3rd, here on CBC Live and in the Canadian Screen Awards show broadcast at 8:30pm ET on CBC TV.
