We are certainly not in shortage of smart, sexy men at the CBC and that makes me happy. Joining their ranks this fall is Daryn Jones, who has left the stewardship of the popular MTV Live to return to CBC as the host of the upcoming competitive reality series Over the Rainbow.
Not quite, although there's a place that makes a mean burrito in the food court under the CBC Toronto headquarters, which Daryn will once again be calling home.
We got the news earlier this week when we joined him at his first photo shoot for Over the Rainbow. "I'm really excited to be here," he said. "I wrote for Rick Mercer for a couple of seasons and then I went off to do other things. Now I'm back at the CBC... and this show is going to be big, it's going to be fun, it's camp, it's rock, it's tongue in cheek."
