VIDEO: CBC Celebs and Their Dogs at the PET S.O.S. Gala

A pug in a tux is a sign of a good party.

The stars brought out some very special red carpet dates for last night's second annual PET S.O.S. Gala in support of the Companion Animal Wellness Foundation (CAWF) at Pawsway in Toronto.

Fashion and media icon Jeanne Beker, who hosted the night, brought the new man in her life, Gus the Golden Doodle.

Naomi Snieckus brought her best friend Rufus the Cockapoo, who was reunited with his old friend Olive the Chihuahua, who he hangs out with on the set of Mr. D when Naomi and Olive's mum, Lauren Hammersley, are shooting.

Conrad Black and his wife Barbara Amiel brought their two Hungarian Kuvaszok. "They've kept me company for many years now - many lonely years," Barbara said. "And now they're very happy that my husband is home with them."

Check out our video from the night for more VIPs of every species...
