MT @wealthy_barber: Thanks for all the well wishes on the "Dragons' Den" front. I'm very excited about doing the show as I'm a huge fan!— CBC LIVE (@CBCLive) March 21, 2012
David Chilton - the man behind The Wealthy Barber - may need more than his scissors to deal with what's to come in the Dragons' Den on CBC. He's the newest member of the lair, bringing his common sense approach to judging (and perhaps investing in) potential business partners that will pitch to him and the other Dragons; Arlene Dickinson, Bruce Croxon, Jim Treliving and Kevin O'Leary.
"David Chilton embodies Canadian entrepreneurial success, and through his terrific books he has shared his financial advice for the benefit of everyone," said Julie Bristow, Executive Director of Studio and Unscripted Programming at CBC. "We can't wait to hear the insights he offers to those entering the Dragons' Den this season."
Chilton wrote and self-published the book The Wealthy Barber in 1989, and has just released a follow up, The Wealthy Barber Returns. He recently spoke with George Stroumboulopoulos about the book and much more. Watch the full interview below:
