The National Meets Adam Beach's Stunt Double

In recent years, when it came to stunts for Arctic Air star Adam Beach, it would sadden him to see that there still wasn't an aboriginal man taking his place. Beach told CBC News' Duncan McCue on set that "the days of a non-Indian getting painted up should be over, but they're not."


Thankfully though for Adam and for CBC's Yellowknife-set drama Arctic Air, their stunt co-ordinator Gavin Behr happened to stumble upon Dan Yelton, of the Squamish nation, in a BC boxing club. Dan's now learning a new trade as a stuntman, and long may it continue...
