Thanksgiving is just around the corner - only five days away. This year, we're thankful to Steven and Chris, In The Kitchen with Stefano Faita and Best Recipes Ever for all of their mouth-watering, Thanksgiving-inspired recipes ranging from cocktails to desserts. Here are our favourites that you can use to spice up your Thanksgiving:
First up, the cocktails. Steven and Chris' resident Mixologist Simon Ho showed the guys how to make a Spiced Pear Sake'tini that your guests will surely love. You can also swap the pear nectar for apple cider.
Next, you should tackle the turkey. And what better way to start than to get a Classic Roast Turkey with Gravy recipe from Best Recipes Ever. It's traditional, it's simple, it's delicious.
For those of you who want to mix-it-up this year, Stefano Faita did things a little bit differently with his Stuff Turkey Breast (filled with prosciutto, Swiss chard and cheese).
Sides are just as important to the meal and we're starting with my personal favourite - brussel sprouts (pause for a collective "yuck"). Now, if you think this vegetable is one of the most disgusting things to eat, Stefano will make you think again with his Brussels Sprouts Sautéed with Sundried Tomatoes and Pine Nuts.
Another classic Thanksgiving side dish is sweet potatoes. So why not try Whipped Sweet Potatoes with Maple Pecan Topping from Best Recipes Ever. We think that they really are the best.
Want the recipes for an entire Thanksgiving meal in one place? Check out this turkey dinner, brought to Steven and Chris by Kary Osmond, including Sage and Cider Roast Turkey, Whisky-Glazed Brussels Sprouts and Bacon Apple Stuffing with Chestnuts.
Even with all of that food, we know you'll save room for dessert. One thing better about saving room for dessert is saving time on Thanksgiving by making the sweet treats ahead of the day. With a collection of Thanksgiving-Worthy Make-Ahead Desserts, Stefano really knows how to bring an end to the perfect meal.
Finally, it's a tested till perfect Best-Ever Apple Pie.
