Northern Lights! Watch Her CBC Music Adventure in Inuvik

A new album and a new tour: Toronto singer-songwriter Lights launches both today. Siberia Acoustic, the unplugged re-do of her 2011 dubstep-leaning record, arrives in stores April 30, though you may have heard it for free on CBC Music already (the site streamed it early all Monday). And she begins a North American trek tonight in San Francisco before reaching Canadian stops including Vancouver (May 3 and 4), Winnipeg (May 7) and Montreal (May 11).

We've included her full Canadian itinerary below, but there's at least one centre she's left off the map, if only 'cause she was just there - with a CBC crew in tow.

Inuvik, Northwest Territories: in the words of Lights herself, it's a place "where the road ends, literally."

The 26-year-old Juno winner blogged about her January journey to the arctic city for CBC Music, who invited her on the trip, and she recorded a series of videos too, captured during her performances at Inuvik's Igloo Church -- and on dog-sledding adventures, and two-day flights and wilderness walks, too.

CBC Music released the clips every week leading up to Siberia Acoustic's release (which, again, is today), but now that they're all up, Lights fans are free to binge watch the whole batch.
