We're only days away from the biggest night in Canadian film and television when the stars descend upon the Sony Centre for the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards. As if the star-studded line-up of nominees and presenters didn't already have you excited, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced even more top Canadian talent that will be presenting on the big night.
Joining host Martin Short on stage will be Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy), Alan Thicke (The L.A. Complex), Kristin Kreuk (Beauty and the Beast), Geneviève Bujold (Still Mine), Sara Canning (Primeval: New World) and Kristin Lehman (Motive). The Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, will also be on hand to present an award.
The presenters add to the previously announced line-up: Adam Beach (Arctic Air), Arlene Dickinson (Dragons' Den), Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle), Rick Mercer (Rick Mercer Report), Stephen Amell (Arrow), Jay Baruchel (Goon), Kim Coates (Goon), Enrico Colantoni (Flashpoint), James Cromwell (Still Mine), Erica Durance (Saving Hope), Marc-André Grondin (Goon), Catherine O'Hara (Frankenweenie), Lisa Ray (Top Chef Canada), Brad Smith (The Bachelor Canada), Meg Tilly (Bomb Girls), Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) and The Real Housewives of Vancouver cast members Jody Claman, Ronnie Negus and Mary Zilba.
This night promises to be huge! Leading up to the show, fans can meet their favourite stars at the Canadian Screen Awards FanZone on Saturday, March 2.
