Martin Short Hosts Saturday Night Live

Before comedy king Martin Short goes live from the Sony Centre at next week's inaugural Canadian Screen Awards, you can catch him doing what he does best; performing sketch comedy when he hosts Saturday Night Live.

Martin's second time as solo host (after being a cast member in Season 10 and a SCTV alum) originally aired back in December with musical guest Paul McCartney. NBC will be re-airing the episode this Saturday night (Feb. 23), which can be seen on Global.

One of Martin's particularly hilarious sketches in the episode spun from the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pregnant. Take a look as he preps the OB/GYN assigned to Kate (played by Bill Hader):

Just over one week later, Martin will host the Canadian Screen Awards on March 3, 2013. We'll be live streaming the star-studded red carpet show, beginning at 4:30 pm ET, right here on You can catch the awards show when it airs live at 8 pm ET on CBC.

Before the big night, catch up on the film nominations, TV and digital nominations, celebrity reactions to the nominations and the brand new Canadian Screen Award statue.
