Hunting season begins September 5. (Celebrity-hunting season, specifically.) Because once the Toronto International Film Festival
begins, you'll find celeb-watchers on the prowl all over Toronto: camped out (and shrieking) in Yorkville, in the Entertainment District and wherever some friend-of-a-friend on Twitter swore she saw George Clooney scarfing FroYo.
But if you're a celeb hunter who prefers a sure shot to the chase, here's a tip: visit the CBC building during the festival.
September 5 - 14 -- so, all TIFF long -- George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight
will be taping new episodes. They have their guest list lined up. All they need is an audience.
That's where you come in, should you be in Toronto this fall. And to get free tickets to the show, visit the show's website
now to sign up.
Spots will fill fast, and though producers can't reveal who'll be warming the red chairs during the festival, think of it this way: you're already guaranteed to be in the presence of one true star, Strombo himself. The A-listers joining him will just be a ridiculously good (looking) bonus. (Last year, Javier Bardem
, Jackie Chan
and Marisa Tomei
were among the TIFF time guests.)
