Every star studded awards show comes with its perks. The celebs get to dress in glamourous outfits, get praise for their performances and are dined with sensational cuisine. To add to that already stellar list of pleasantries, Grey Goose has prepared a signature cocktail which will be offered to the nominees, winners and presenters throughout the night backstage in our exclusive CBC Live Lounge, where we'll be interviewing all the winners and the celebs from the Genie Awards green room, beginning at 7pm ET right here on CBC Live.
Grey Goose was kind enough to share their recipe for the 2012 Genie awards signature cocktail, the Genie Martini. During Tuesday's I Dream of Genie press preview we watched expert mixologist Trevor Burnett shake up a few as we sipped away. Try this cocktail at home while you watch the Genies on CBC.
Grey Goose, the exclusive vodka sponsor of the Genie Awards Backstage, will be shaking up these mesmerizing mouth-gasms at the CBC Live Lounge with host Jamey Ordolis and CBC News' Eli Glasner for the entire evening, ensuring fun times for all.

1 oz GREY GOOSE Vodka
6-8 fresh and crisp green grapes
2 oz Sauvignon Blanc

¼ oz fresh lemon juice
Rose water (optional)
