CBC Throwing Open the Doors for Culture Days

On Saturday October 1, CBC is throwing open its doors with Open Houses, inviting you to come in and have a look around for Culture Days, celebrating everything arts and culture from coast to coast to coast. Wherever you are, you won't be far away from a CBC building that's opening its doors. In 32 cities you'll be able to get a behind the scenes look at how CBC works like never before - anyone can take advantage of a wide range of experiences, like appearing on camera, recording radio messages, going inside satellite trucks and learning how a news story is produced from start to finish.

And if you can't make it to one of our Open Houses locations, the festivities officially begin on Friday, September 30 with A Kick Off to Culture Days. We here at CBC Live will be streaming live from Vancouver up until 6pm, with the days events being kicked off by Johnny Reid.
