CBC Gives Thumbs Up to New Olympic Red Mittens

With TIFF '13 still going hard, our CBC Live @ TIFF insiders have been dishing on red carpet fashion for days. But it's time to switch the conversation to something else: Red Mitten style.

There's only one must-have Olympic accessory for Sochi 2014: a pair of Team Canada "Red Mittens," and this year's design was revealed Tuesday morning on CBC News Network. Now on sale at The Bay, and available in sizes for infants to adults, 30 per cent of the proceeds go straight to the Canadian Olympic Foundation. The last time Canada jumped on the red mitten trend, nearly $15 million was raised for our athletes.

Heather Hiscox was the first CBC-er to give the new woolies the "thumbs up." But, in the tradition of red-carpet coverage, who do you think wears the Red Mittens best? Check out pictures of Team CBC glamming up their Team Canada swag.

We bet you look great in Red Mittens, too. (National pride is flattering on every figure.) Have a pair? Post your pic on Twitter with the tag #2014RedMittens.
