Canada's Favourite Independent Musicians are Revealed

We're merely two weeks away from the Bucky Awards, where CBC Radio 3 and all of us will celebrate the best in independent Canadian music. "Our listeners really have done an amazing job at showcasing the outstanding music of 2012," said Radio 3 host Craig Norris. "We can't wait to see how these awards play out on December 7." With the first round of votes counted, the longlists have been cut down to five in each category and we have our official 2012 Bucky Awards Shortlist. The cream of the Canadian crop is as follows:
