Canada Reads 2013: Recommend Your Read

It's time again for you to recommend your read for Canada Reads 2013. Presented by CBC Books, Canada Reads will once again hold a literary battle of the books where novels are nominated, then eliminated until a top five is reached. Hosted by Q's Jian Ghomeshi, the top five books will be debated by Canadian personalities before a winner is declared.

This year - in it's twelfth season - Canada Reads is doing something a little different. Not only are the novels going back to fiction, but when it comes to nominating a book, Canada Reads wants you to select the one that best represents wherever you call home! There are five finalists and five panelists, so the country has been divided into five regions; British Columbia and Yukon, Prairies and North, Ontario, Quebec and finally, Atlantic Provinces. You can recommend a book in any of the regions, however you can only select one book for each.

You can recommend your read now until Monday October 22, 2012. Just submit your choice or Twitter users can simply add the hashtag associated with your region and tweet your pick:

British Columbia and Yukon: #canadareadsBCY
Prairies and North: #canadareadsPraN
Ontario: #canadareadsON
Quebec: #canadareadsQC
Atlantic Provinces: #canadareadsATL
