The year in review for
George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight is chock full of in-depth celebrity interviews the likes of which you don't get anywhere else in Canada - and very rarely from other international outlets either, for that matter. Some of my favorites from 2011 include
Christopher Plummer,
Stephen Fry and
Bradley Cooper.
For two weeks, beginning tonight, the show will share their "Best of 2011" interviews, curated by George and his team and including my favorites and many more.
This Friday, December 23rd, is also the annual George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight Holiday Music Special which features performances by Michael Bublé and Paul Anka, Down With Webster, Bedouin Soundclash with The Cougars, Trombone Shorty, Adam Cohen and Coeur de Pirate and many others, plus holiday stories from the likes of Jamie Oliver, Sebastian Bach, Jann Arden, Rick Hansen and Kermit The Frog.
But we're most looking forward to a special recreation of the David Bowie-Bing Crosby rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy" by George himself and pal Martin Short. Not. To. Be. Missed. Here's the full schedule...
