Last night at the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto, Jian Ghomeshi hosted the 2011 Scotiabank Giller Prize. Some of the biggest names in Canadian literature were present to see the jury award the prestigious Giller Prize and a cheque for $50,000 to Esi Edugyan for her novel Half-Blood Blues.
