Joni Mitchell is one of the foremost singer/songwriters and poets of our time. Her eclectic and unique body of work still touches us today as much as it did three decades ago. She has also led an equally fascinating and inspiring personal life. In this two-part, two-hour documentary, Mitchell takes us on an intimate biographical journey. She speaks in-depth about her life as a songwriter/musician/painter, and the inspiration she derives from the joy and pain she’s experienced over several decades in the public eye. The program includes rare interviews with her friends and musical peers, and is highlighted by never-before-seen film performance footage and photographs.
