The Life and Times of The Dale Sisters

Jennifer and Cynthia Dale grew up in a different world from most kids.  Singing, dancing and acting classes took up as much time as the 3 R's.  Daily life was a constant round of auditions, rehearsals and performances.  These kids became troopers in the old vaudeville tradition - performers who could do anything.  And it's paid off.  They are two of Canada's busiest stars, performing in everything from TV and movies, to musical theatre.

Playing off the spontaneity and charisma of the sisters together, this lively biography looks at the similarities and differences in their personal and professional lives.  Jennifer has had leading roles in Side Effects and John Woo's Once A Thief and Cynthia has starred in Street Legal and in Camelot at the Stratford Festival.  Both have dealt with the ups and downs of show business as well as in their own personal lives.  Candid behind-the-scenes sequences and archival footage round out an intimate portrait that is a tale of two sisters.
