The weather roller coaster many of us were on this month is finally making way to cooler temperatures, which means I'll be hunkering down and holding court at home for the next six months. See ya next summer! Seriously though, when things get cozy, all I wanna do is have a warm bath, every night and my beauty routine is naturally kicks up a notch. If you're the same way, here are seven products that can make a big difference in your 'time to retreat' regime.

Keep calm

This new, all-natural brand out of Ontario is full of products that enhance your wellness, which in turn helps boost your beauty quotient. Of note

Relying on five master perfumers to create their latest scents, Roger & Gallet gave each their own signature note, and asked them to reinvent it. Out of this collaboration comes Extrait Cologne, in Cassis Frénesie (it stimulates a good mood and is made of blackcurrant and rose), Tubérieuse Hédonie (where the body and mind let go, thanks to notes of tuberose, jasmine and bergamot), Néroli Facétie (which helps to invoke sleep), Verveine Utopie (with refreshing verbena and cedarwood) and Thé Fantaisie (to stimulate creativity thanks to black tea cardamom and coriander).

Hello, you

Hot off the heels of launching in Canada, and launching their Body Hero products last month, comes Glossier's first ever fragrance, aptly titled You. Made up of notes likes musk, pink pepper and ambrette, the millennial fave promises that the juice will smell exactly the same all day as when you first spritzed. Consider this a warm, creamy and clean addition to your scent wardrobe.

Taking it tropical

For a hydrating bath, (we can all use the extra moisture when the cool weather hits let's be honest!), grab a bottle of Live Clean's new Aromatherapy Foam Bath. My favourite is the Tropical Coconut scent, made with organic coconut, citrus botanicals and hydrating vitamin E and chamomile. This may just be your most economical, eco-friendly soak option.

Lip service

If you get frequent cold sores (some stats suggest as many as 80 per cent of us in this country carry the virus that causes them), you know that they tend to pop up in the fall, when the weather is cool. Protect your pout with the new-to-Canada Lipivir clear gel. Applied daily - it can go under makeup and won't sweat off - it is proven to help prevent the occurrence of cold sores and has a fan following in Europe.
