Royal real estate: Meghan Markle's Toronto home is on the market
It could be yours for a cool $1.395 million
She came. She saw. She got engaged to a Royal.
Meghan Markle is the hottest name in the world right now and her Toronto home has just gone on the market, following her engagement to Prince Harry last month, throwing Royal-Watchers into quite the tizzy.
It's a modest home boasting 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage and a fully furnished basement. It's located at 10 Yarmouth Road in the Annex neighbourhood of the city.
While living in Toronto to make the show Suits, Meghan rented the property from a couple who bought the house for $508,000 in 2007. It has since gained some notoriety, to say the least, as the neighborhood paparazzo count surged over the past year. It's now on the market for $1.395 million. They are poised to make a pretty penny on the unit even in Toronto's cooling housing market (and the publicity won't hurt either).
MORE CELEBRITY REAL ESTATE:
The owners made some minor interior fixes before listing the property, but you can still see/copy what it looked like when Meghan and her two pups lived there.
No word on if Prince Harry ever visited but that won't stop the hoards of Royal-watchers from descending on the property this weekend for its first open house.
Bye Meghan! Come back soon. xo
