A couple of months ago, we were looking for ideas to best showcase new Canadian comedy talent, and decided a tournament would be the best method. We scoured the web for talent; we looked on YouTube, Vimeo, Funny or Die, and also notified previous comedians who submitted videos to our site.

We came up with 16 funny Canadians, and entered them into the tournament. Each week they are matched up against a new competitor and depending on your votes, move on, or get eliminated.



The competitors are really hoping your votes! What's in it for them? Well, the winner of the tournament gets $500 from Apple. Not too shabby, with the new iPhone being released anytime now. They also get a feature article on our website and a mention on our show. Exposure never hurt anybody!
