In April 2010, Hunt was mentioned in ELLE Magazine (New York) for his comedy works. He was named CBC's Comedy Star of the Week in May 2010.
Hunt has performed over 50 stand up shows at The Albion Hotel in Guelph Ontario as a host of an open mic/ comedy night that he ran in 2007. He writes unconventional comedy advertisements for several radio stations and online companies.
He is best known for his 1,000+ viral videos - including a Christmas Song that received over 13, 000 views on YouTube due to its controversial nature.
In 2008, Hunt created a 'Sit Down' comedy night in Guelph Ontario. Instead of performing on stage with microphones, comedians sat at tables and performed 20 minute routines until they moved to another table and swapped audiences with another comedian.
He believes this style of comedic performance allows for a more natural/intimate/hilarious performance.
Hunt's comedy album, 'People Look Gross When They Laugh' is available for free at his shows. Laughter is the only form of payment he takes. <-- God, I'm charming.
