I'm Craig Norris. What's your name?
That's a lovely name.
How are you?
Glad to hear it.
OK, enough niceties. Let's get down to business.
I am honoured to be hosting Laugh Out Loud! You may know me from my guest-hosting LOL for the past two weeks. Or, some of you may know me from my hosting duties at CBC Radio 3
. A select few of you may know me from my role as "Baby Relic" on the short-lived CBC dramedy, "Beachcomber Babies". I still think that show was never really given the chance to find its audience. True, losing Strombo as "Baby Nick" to The Hour really affected ratings, but the show was fundamentally solid.
But I didn't come here to wax philisophical about the changing tastes of the average Canadian television viewer. I'm here so that we can get to know each other and I can tell you what's coming up on this week's show!
I have two comics from this year's Hubcap Comedy Festival
in Moncton, NB; Jen Grant's take on free-range chickens could very well have you re-thinking your food choices, and Mike Ward delves into the marvelous world of motor homes. Herb Dixon is also along with a pretty stellar impression of a Harley Davidson.
LOL Associate Producer, Scott Johnson, will be stopping by to fill us in on our Clash Of Comedy, and I'll reveal the lucky winner of this week's Get Lucky Question Contest.
You and I will become a lot more acquainted because I'll be spending a lot of time out here on the LOL blog. You should stop by more often from now on.
