Jan 2, 2011 Their Story
They were the last to leave the resettled outport of Paradise, and they were the first to come back...to fish, every summer. The Pomeroys. Loyola and Patricia and their children.
A Land and Sea crew filmed the Pomeroys when they first came back to their abandoned outport. Then, 30 years later, we caught up with the Pomeroys again. The children, now grown, had kept the tradition of returning every summer. And Patricia Pomeroy, at 76, was still calling Paradise home.
