Rural Schools

If you live in rural Canada, the one issue sure to stir you up is the closure of small
schools. That threat is now hanging over rural schools in Prince Edward Island.

Some Islanders called it "the awakening of a sleeping giant" as parents and their children vow to keep their schools open.

But the fight is about more than that - it's about the loss of community and the Island way of life.
