The end of an outreach program

Geoff Rayner-Canham.jpg Geoff Rayner-Canham (mun) For some kids…. school is a place they’ll form bonds that will last a lifetime. Over the last 11 years…. Geoff Rayner-Canham has been working with Labrador schools to establish some lasting chemical bonds as well. He’s a chemistry professor at the Grenfell Campus of Memorial University… and the founder of an award winning outreach program…. designed to bring chemistry into the province’s grade schools. Rayner-Canham and his team of volunteers brought live demos…. video clips… and interactive experiments to some of the most remote communities in Labrador. Now… the program is ending. Our Matt McCann reached Rayner-Canham at his office in Corner Brook.
